CGD Seared Gnocchi



  • CGD Seasoned Olive Oil
  • 1 pkge gnocchi
  • 3-4 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 Buffalo mozzarella ball, ripped into 1 inch or so pieces
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup slivered basil
  • Salt & pepper


Follow directions and boil gnocchi until tender but still firm. Drain. Coat large, non-stick frying pan with CGD (spicy or original) and heat to medium-high heat.

Add cooked gnocchi and cook over medium high heat. Stir after a minute or two and then just let gnocchi brown without stirring for about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and mozzarella. Quickly stir to combine. Top with basil, salt & pepper. Cover pan & cook until mozzarella melts. Uncover, lower heat and cook a few more minutes until melted & heated through. Serve alone or as a side dish. Enjoy!!!
